Just a thought
Here our officers run to Eritrea and elsewhere like dogs caught stealing In Thailand they tell their PM to get lost while he's abroad- without bloodshed...
Dina, you can't seriously be hoping for a military coup..are you? The last two are still fresh on our minds, so no thank you. Plus, who is the military led by? Different names, same Bekolo.
But Dube, can we live like this forever? The emphasis is on a non-violent coup- not a military coup. The only military aspect is that our defectors just saved their own skin... yet again; Probabaly rather for personal gain in exchange for something, not because they really dislike this government.
Besides, the Beqolo these days doesn't look or taste the same either, it's Yarra and Monsanto espeziale- so Beqolo can change, too.
The ruling party fought a bloody war for seventeen years to get into power, they are unlikely to be the most democratic rulers, nor are they likely to relinquish power just yet, but pushing for peaceful change is the only way ahead. It takes time but it is better than a return to bloodshed.
